Data Privacy Policy

 

Thank you for visiting www.reisemission-leipzig.de, the web presence of Reise Mission GmbH.

 

The protection of your privacy and personal data are top priorities for Reise Mission GmbH for both our online activities and the handling of your bookings. Therefore, our data protection practice is in accord with the current the applicable rules of the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany (BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as further applicable regulations and rules. All employees of Reise Mission GmbH who are processing your dare are obligated to observe data protection policies and especially data secrecy.

 

In the following, we will explain to you where and how personal data are collected and how they are processed.

 

1.       Personal data

According to the BDSG, personal data mean nay information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as your full name, birth date, postal address, IP address, telephone number or e-mail address.

 

Personal data do not include information which cannot be directly linked to your real identity, such as the number of user of a website.

 

2.       Anonymised data

With each access to the content on our web presence, general data are automatically saved, for instance the number and length of usage of single websites. Those data are not personal data and are processed in an anonymised from. Such processing is used for statistical reasons only and to optimise our web presence. No Personal data will be collected.

 

3.       Collected data

We collect your personal data to handle the offers and services with you have chosen. Collection will mainly take place during the request, registration or booking of our travel services. Additionally, personal data are collected when filling in contact forms, when participating in competitions, when subscribing to our newsletter, and when transmitting e-mails or when using online services. Reise Mission GmbH collects only personal data that are necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes.

 

Please notice that personal data from fellow travellers may be collected. This is especially the case when booking travel services, e.g. when you request a booking for you and an additional person. Please ensure that such personal data are only made available with the consent of that third party.

 

We would like to point out that the collection of certain personal data is indispensable for the realization of travel services. You are, therefore, obligated to provide those necessary data for handling your request or the execution of contractually agreed services. In the case that such personal data are not made available to us, we may reject your booking request or book only a part of the travel services you were asking for.

 

The data collected through the online visitor‘s book is exclusively used to process the entries into the online visitor’s book. Entries on the web presence of Reise Mission GmbH become part of the website’s public content and are typically accessible to public for an undetermined amount of time. Entries may be deleted by Reise Mission GmbH on personal request of the author. When writing in the online visitor’s book, your IP address will be stored. This is a safety measures in the case that the entry includes illegal content. In such cases, Reise Mission GmbH can be hold responsible for the entry and is therefore interested in revealing the author of that entry. Your IP address will only be used to identify authors who published illegal content. In addition, your email address will be stored but not published. This is another safety measure against entry with dishonest or willfully false statements, illegal or discriminating content etc. Data concerning your name, place of residence and/or website will only be collected if you chose to enter the respective form, but this input is optional.

4.       Purpose of data usage and processing

The purpose of Reise Mission GmbH is the distribution of travel services and related services and billing features. Collection, processing and using your personal data aims at executing those purposes. In accordance with legal rules and regulation and following the principle of data minimization, we will collect only those data that are necessary to execute one or more of the purposes stated beforehand. Should we ask for further information in forms, that input will be optional and marked as such.

 

When collection and processing of your personal data is related to a reservation or booking of a travel service, we will use those data within the framework of the contractual relationship’s purpose to answer to your request, distribute process and to settle the contract as well as to provide related services.

 

Personal data that were made available to us by you and which were exclusively collected when using our online presence will be used to design the content of contractual relationship via tele media service and to improve the quality of our online services.

 

When participating in competitions your personal data will only be used to process the competitions.

 

When subscribing to our newsletter, your personal data will be used for its distribution. Additionally, your IP address will be saved via the confirmation link to prove your registration for the newsletter in case of doubt.

 

Collecting, processing and using of your personal data for advertising purposes or market research will only take place in the framework of legal rules and regulations.

 

You have the right to object to the use of your personal data in that context (see also clause 10 „Your rights and data erasure“). Objection is possible at any time. You shall be informed about your possibility to object as well as about how to deregister (especially from the newsletter) with every usage of your data for adverting or market research purpose.

 

5.       Use of cookies

5.1     Setting of Cookies

When visiting our website, information in the form of so-called “cookies” will be stored in your computer system via your internet browser software. Cookies are small text files with configuration information which will be stored on your computer and will be read out again when visiting the website later. Cookies are stored on your hard disk without inflicting any damage to it. Repetitive visitors can be recognized for the length of your visit on the website by cookies. Therefore, the usage of cookies will make it easier for you to utilize our website and helps Reise Mission GmbH to optimize its online presence. By using cookies, data concerning your usage of the website will be stored and used by Reise Mission GmbH. The cookies used by Reise Mission will collect data concerning the number of visits and users on our website but no personal data. 5.2     Use of Google Analytics[1]

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereafter named “Google”) or comparable cookie-based tracking systems, respectively. The use includes the „Universal Analytics“ operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze a user's activities across devices.[2]

 

Google Analytics uses cookies. Those text files are placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users interact with the web site. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website, including your IP address, is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may transfer those data to third parties if and so far as this is legally required or if such third parties are processing data on behalf of Google.

6.       Newsletter und consent in its reception

We will send you our newsletters with information concerning our company (especially concerning our offer and workshops) only with your consent or legal permission (see Art. 6 para. 1 and para. 1 lit. A GDPR).

 

By subscribing to the newsletter of Reise Mission GmbH, you agree to its reception and the subscribing and unsubscribing methods described in the following.

 

A valid email address is sufficient to subscribe to the newsletter. Our subscription method uses the so-called Double-Opt-In method. This means that a confirmation e-mail will automatically be sent to the e-mail address registered by a client. This confirmation e-mail is used to prove whether the owner of the e-mail is authorized to receive the newsletter and not a third party using that email address. Subscription is recorded to prove subscription according to legal requirements. This includes storage of your IP address.

 

You may unsubscribe to the newsletter at any moment, thus revoking your consent. You will be informed about this possibility in the end of any newsletter.

 

7.       Length of use and storage of data

Personal data are delete without undue delay in the case of your objection to your consent (see clause 10 „Your rights and data erasure“) or when the purpose of the usage of that data is fulfilled or no longer applicable.

 

Reise Mission GmbH will inform its co-operating partners without undue delay about your objection. The co-operating partners are obligated to delete personal data without undue delay after knowledge of that objection.

 

8.       Data transmission

Your personal data are only transmitted to third parties when this is necessary for the settlement of the contract, to perform the services as contracted or for billing. Accordingly, we may transfer your personal data for the purposes of handling and executing our distributed touristic services to your corresponding contractual partner (e.g. tour operator, airline, hotel, travel agency, car rental agency, billing and distribution service provider, travel assurance company) and especially your booking details to a used booking system.

 

When participating in a competition, your personal data will be transferred to the corresponding partner of the coemption if this is necessary to redeem a win.

 

Transmission of personal data will only take place within the legal framework and only if this is necessary for the handling of your booking or the related billing process. In any case, only anonymized data will be transferred which does not allow to draw any conclusion about your identity.

 

Collection or transmission of personal data to state institutions, authorities and agencies will only take place within the framework of obligating legal rules and regulations, especially concerning hazard defense for state or public security or concerning criminal prosecution.

 

Transmission of personal data to third parties for other purposes than mentioned above does not take place.

 

9.       Important notice for travelers to the USA

Following a US federal law concerning the search for terrorists, air lines are obligated to provide the flight and reservation details of each passenger to the US immigration department prior to the passenger’s arrival on US ground. Without that transmission, entering the USA is not possible.

 

10.     Your rights and data erasure

Based on the BDSG, you have the right to obtain information as to whether personal data, and if so which data, are processed and stored (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to object (Art. 21 GDPR), to erasure of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Moreover, you have the right to inform the competent supervisory authority if assuming an illegal data processing.

 

10.1   Information

Upon written request, you are entitled to receive information about personal data stored by Reise Mission GmbH (Art. 15 GDPR). This information is free of charge. Please send your request by e-mail to info@reisemission-leipzig.de (Subject: „Data protection “) or write to our postal address which is stated below.

 

10.2   Objection

Your have the right to object at any time and with effect for the future to your consent to the usage and/or transmission of your personal data by sending a corresponding message by e-mail to info@reisemission-leipzig.de (Subject: „Data protection “) or by writing to our postal address which is stated below (Art. 18, 21 GDPR).

 

10.3   Erasure

Your personal data will be erasure if you object to its storage, or if the data are no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which they were stored, or if data storage is not permissible for legal reasons (Art. 17 GDPR). Please send your request by e-mail to info@reisemission-leipzig.de (Subject: „Data protection “) or write to our postal address which is stated below.

 

Please notice that erasure may be subject to legal or contractual obligations, especially preservation and storage duties. This is especially the case when it comes to data that are required for billing and accountancy. In such cases, erasure of personal data is only possible after the end of the legal preservation and storage duties. If possible, your data will be blocked during that period and no longer be used.

 

11.     Data protection

To protect your data against random or deliberate manipulation, loss, damage, unauthorized access or unauthorized publication by third parties, respectively, Reise Mission GmbH takes technical and organizational security measures which will be constantly optimized based on technical and legal developments.

 

To protect your credit card data, we expressively ask you not to electronically transmit necessary credit card data.

 

Reise Mission GmbH stores your data on servers within the Federal Republic of Germany.

 

Our service providers and co-operating partners who receive data within the framework of services described in this paper are also bound to data protection by laws and legal rules and regulations.

 

12.     Internet safety

Online attempts to default are more and more common with the methods of fraudsters becoming more and more professional. Please notice the following indications concerning possible risks. You will find more information concerning internet safety on the website of the Federal Office for Information Safety (www.bsi.bund.de).

 

Reise Mission GmbH will never ask you to transfer deposits or the full amount of travel costs to a foreign bank account. Should you receive e-mail or message requesting you to do so, please do not transfer any money. Please contact our customer service by dialing +49 341 3085410 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or by sending an e-mail to info@reisemission-leipzig.de. If you think that an online presence, offer or e-mail was presumably not sent by Reise Mission GmbH, please contact us.

When opening those websites, you may ask again for personal data, browser configuration (especially concerning the setting of cookies) etc. The data privacy policy in hand does not concern the collection, transmission and usage of personal data by third parties and does not include other service providers. We reserve the right to modify the data privacy policy at any time to adjust it to legal changes or changes of services or changes related to data usage (including collection etc.).
